Sources, licences and editorial method
How CORDA DB acquires, reconciles, attributes and publishes musical catalogue data and original curatorial texts.
Catalogue facts
Names, dates, identifiers and documented relationships are normalized from multiple sources. Every match retains its provider and external identifier; uncertain matches enter the editorial workflow instead of being silently merged.
Wikidata
Structured data is made available under CC0 1.0. CORDA DB still exposes the originating identifier for transparency and verification.

Wikipedia revisions may be retained as documentary sources for curators, but their article text is not automatically published as a CORDA DB biography. Public biographies are original, versioned and human-approved editorial texts.
Other providers and media
MusicBrainz, IMSLP, RISM and Open Opus records are identified separately. A provider link does not grant a blanket licence over the linked resource. Scores, editions, portraits, audio, MEI and MusicXML must each carry their own rights and territorial status before CORDA DB can host or redistribute them.

Catalogue coverage is provisional and is not a critical catalogue. Source conflicts, attribution errors and rights concerns should be reviewed through the curatorial workflow before publication.
